Miami Hurricanes OC Josh Gattis To Make Return To Big 10? Van Dyke & Garcia BOTH Staying? Recruiting
Rumors are heating up about Miami Hurricanes offensive coordinator Josh Gattis possibly departing for another job. He is now being linked to Iowa, where former Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara is transferring. Gattis and McNamara worked together with the Wolverines in 2021 when Michigan qualified for the college football playoff. Are the Iowa links real, or just rumors at this point? If Gattis exits, should Miami promote QB coach Frank Ponce or should they try to make a bigger splash with someone like Scott Frost or Dan Mullen? Would former UNLV head coach Marcus Arroyo be a possibility? Arroyo was OC at Oregon under Cristobal through 2019.
Host Alex Donno breaks down the Gattis buzz and also details the recent news that both Miami quarterbacks Tyler Van Dyke and Jake Garcia will NOT be entering the transfer portal. You can expect Jacurri Brown to stay put, too, with Emory Williams arriving as a true freshman in 2023. Donno predicts that 4-star EDGE Rueben Bain from Miami Central will likely pick the Miami Hurricanes this month when he announces his verbal commitment.
