Man allegedly armed with machine gun on Bourbon Street among those let off by Orleans prosecutor
A Tennessee resident previously arrested for illegal carrying of a weapon was one of the more than a dozen individuals who had their charges outright dismissed on Mardi Gras Day. He had been charged with illegal carrying and unlawful possession of a machine gun.
