Louisiana judge temporarily blocks state's abortion ban

A Louisiana judge has temporarily blocked the state’s trigger law banning abortion for the second time.

The ruling comes after the Supreme Court decided to overturn Roe v Wade, granting several states the power to decide for themselves if abortion should be legal or banned.

A hearing will take place on Monday, allowing both sides to argue whether the junction should remain in place.
