The 2022 season isn’t going well for Kliff Kingsbury and the Arizona Cardinals.

Despite getting Kyler Murray a new contract, and new weapons, the Cardinals are 4-8.

Instead of them improving from their sensational 2021 season, they have been a disappointment.

This puts pressure on Kingsbury to win on Monday night, as the Cardinals want another playoff run.

Kingsbury’s Issues Stem From Murray

Back in October, Kingsbury and his starting quarterback got into a heated argument.

With him having a young quarterback who’s angry with him, it’s difficult to keep the team together.

As a leader, it’s up to the head coach to keep his players in line and on point during games.

While the argument led to Murray telling his coach to “calm the F down,” it’s conduct unbecoming of a player.

Since the argument, the Cardinals have been a disaster, going 1-4.

However, there are deeper issues beyond those between Kingsbury and Murray.

Cardinals Need A Playoff Berth To Save Kingsbury

While the team was thought to have a shot at the playoffs, their chances of reaching it look grim.

They went from playoff contenders early in 2022 to a team struggling to win games.

If they want to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, Kingsbury needs to turn the team around.

If he can’t win against the New England Patriots, who are having their own issues, then his time in Arizona might be over.

Despite sending the team to the playoffs last year, his coaching has sent the team nowhere this season.

Another loss pushes them one step closer to playoff elimination, while possibly costing Kingsbury his job.
