Jackson State University Student Claims He Kills Roommate Over a Doughnut

Story #1
Randall Smith claimed that Flynn Brown began to choke him until he couldn’t breathe, so he grabbed a gun and shot Brown in self-defense.

Smith now faces a murder charge in the death Brown, was granted a $200,000 bond and 270 days of GPS monitoring in a preliminary hearing last month.

Smith alleges the altercation started in the form of bullying. He claims Brown snatched a bag of doughnuts out his hand which was the culmination of a history of abuse from Brown.

Story #2
13-year-old Sinzae Reed was shot dead back in October at the Wedgewood Apartments. The alleged murderer is 36 year old Krieg Butler. According to eye-witness Butler exited his vehicle, shot Reed and sped off.

Butler said he shot the teenage boy due to self-defense and now his charges have been completely dropped.

The local and national community is outraged!
