How everyday items are costing Louisiana

0

In what some economists are calling the perfect storm, everyday commodities in the US are taking a hit.

Everyday items such as beef, gasoline and vegetables are losing their value and it’s causing a lot of trouble.

A new Bloomberg Business report says that Louisiana is in the top ten states that will be hurt the most.

It’s estimated that Louisiana lost over 40 thousand acres of agriculture because of the weather.

The report says that crop loss mixed with oil prices equals over ten percent of Louisiana’s gross state product taking a hit.

Economists say that we just have to wait and see.

If this trend continues into next year, we could see long lasting negative affects to Louisiana’s economy.
