In just two days, MLB free agency will begin.

Several top players are out on the market, including Aaron Judge, Jacob deGrom, and Trea Turner.

The New York Mets are expected to be one of the more aggressive spenders this offseason.

Retaining deGrom will likely be owner Steve Cohen’s top priority as he attempts to improve the Mets heading into 2023.

However, it’s very possible that the Mets could be in on Judge at some point in the offseason.

The Craziness Of Hot Stove Season

It’s very possible that the Mets will be in on both of these free agents.

Will they sign both of them?

Maybe not.

But Steve Cohen certainly has the money to do so, and the Mets are expected to be big spenders yet again.

Regardless, free agency is a crazy time of year.

Teams will ink players to massive contracts and sometimes bring in multiple stars with the resources that they may have.

But other teams will be in on the sweepstakes and will be competing to try and land said free agent.

The sweepstakes for Judge and deGrom will be wild and fun to watch this offseason.
