Today, WSJ Fed whisperer Nick Timiraos wrote that while 75bps is a done deal for the November meeting, the FOMC discussion will be a “critical staging ground” for a lower December 50bps hike instead. Timiraos’ report is a distraction to calm the market jitters right in time for Midterms.
