The Miami Dolphins are looking to make a run at the Super Bowl in the coming years.

You can tell that by some of the moves they have this offseason.

First, they picked up the fifth-year option on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and committed to him as their guy.

Then, they made a blockbuster trade to acquire cornerback Jalen Ramsey from the Los Angeles Rams.

According to Josina Anderson, the Rams are getting tight end Hunter Long and a third-round pick back for Ramsey.

Ramsey brings along a hefty contract, but the Dolphins are not worried about salary cap complications.

This is mostly because they have a quarterback still on a rookie deal.

There are plenty of people that think the Dolphins got the better end of the deal here.

To get an all-pro caliber player for that little compensation is mostly because of the contract.

This deal helps the Dolphins in a big way on the defensive side of the ball.

They now have two very good cornerbacks in Xavien Howard and Ramsey.

This will help them match up with some of the top receivers in the AFC.

Seeing this deal makes fans of opposing teams wonder why their team could not get Ramsey.

Ramsey is set to enter his age 29 season and he still has many good years ahead of him.

Also, he heads back to the AFC for the first time since his Jacksonville days.

On paper, the Dolphins have one of the best rosters in the conference.

But, the games are not played on paper and they will have to prove it on the field.
