Fans React To Timberwolves Surprising Position In The Standings
The beginning of the new NBA season has been very good to fans of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After years of waiting and mounting frustration and disappointment, the T-Wolves are a dominant team.
In fact, they are now the number-one seed in the Western Conference, a fact shared by StatMuse on Sunday morning.

Immediately after StatMuse reminded people of this impressive accomplishment, basketball fans from all over headed to Twitter to share opinions.
Some people praised the patience of Minnesota’s fans, who have been seemingly waiting forever for their team to be as good as promised.
The Timberwolves have had a lot of potential for years but haven’t reached it.
For example, they ended last season as the eighth team in their conference
Really shows patience is a virtue . Congrats Timberwolves fans

Other people highlighted the team’s dynamic defense this season.
Last year, the Timberwolves acquired Rudy Gobert and people hoped they’d immediately become dominant defenders but that wasn’t the case.
However, their defensive game has gotten so much stronger this season.
Crazy good defense this year. Maybe they’ve figured it out.

Others said this is the best Timberwolves team of all time and even said that Anthony Edwards is the “next coming of Michael Jordan.”
Not surprised. This is the best Wolves team of all time. Anthony Edwards is the next coming of Michael Jordan. Rudy Gobert is back as the best defensive big of all time and is the next coming of Michael Jordan. Jaden McDaniels is lockdown and the next coming of Michael Jordan.

And then there were some who claimed their time at the top in the West will not last long.
Won’t last Long😂

They definitely have a lot of competition for the top seed in the Western Conference, and their opponents are incredibly tough.
Right now, they share a record with the Denver Nuggets and everyone agrees that the Nuggets will not stop playing well.
The Sacramento Kings, meanwhile, are just five games behind them.
It has taken a long time for the Timberwolves to get to this point but they will have to keep fighting hard to stay in the position they’re in now.
