Despite being a town of just a few thousand people, St. Francisville is a standout in many ways – it’s home to a meditation park with a Japanese-American garden, live music, and art scenes, the largest bald cypress tree in the eastern US, plantation homes both well-preserved and ruinous, an infamous prison, and the biannual rodeo that prison hosts for the public.
