Ex-Boyfriend Charged with Murder After Woman's Body Found with Limbs Cut Off in Louisiana in 2019
The ex-boyfriend of a Texas woman whose body was found dismembered and dumped in a shallow ditch in 2019 has been arrested and accused of murder. Carl Tates, is being held in the Madison County detention center on no bond on a murder charge. According to a criminal complaint against him out of Harris County, Texas, Tates is accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Demetris Lincoln, who was last heard from on Aug. 16, 2019 before being found in a ditch in St. Landry Parish, La., two days later.
