But the state of Utah in the United States is all set to change this. While Utah is the first U.S. state to take such measures, states like Arkansas, Texas, Ohio and Louisiana and New Jersey are also looking at similar proposals. The move comes amidst rising calls for regulating social media companies and putting checks and balances on how they exploit user attention and data. What exactly are these proposals?
