This year, the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs, two historic National League rivals, will be squaring off in the London Series.

The London Series was first played in 2019 between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.

The Cardinals and Cubs were set to square off in the series in 2020 before COVID-19 wiped it off the schedule.

But finally, this classic event will return and fans of both teams will get a chance to watch their clubs in action.

On Twitter, Cardinals insider John Denton provided an important update on the series, revealing which TV networks each game will be on.

The Saturday game will air on FOX Sports and begin at 12:10 p.m. Central Time.

The Sunday game will be an early one.

That game will air on ESPN and will start at 9:10 a.m. CT.

Some fans may still be in bed at that time.

However, fans now know where they can find each of these games.

The regional sports networks, such as Bally Sports Midwest for the Cardinals and Marquee Sports for the Cubs, will not be carrying either of these games.

This could provide a fresh take on the rivalry between the Cardinals and the Cubs.

The two teams are expected to battle it out in the National League Central this year.

The Cardinals won the division in 2022, but the Cubs made some key moves to bridge the gap, so it could be an interesting series that develops out in London between these two clubs.
