Shohei Ohtani continues to impress.

The Los Angeles Angels haven’t had a very good season, to say the least.

Their 14-game skid at the beginning of June essentially took them out of postseason contention.

But that doesn’t mean that Ohtani hasn’t provided Halos fans with some reasons to be excited.

He keeps hitting bombs and is pitching like an ace on the mound.

He’s 8-4 with a 2.44 ERA in 14 starts as a pitcher.

At the plate, he’s hitting .257 with 18 home runs and 53 RBI.

FOX Bet tweeted some odds for certain awards at the end of the 2022 season, and the tweet shows Ohtani once again leading the way in the American League for the MVP award.

Ohtani’s Case For MVP

Ohtani deserves to at least be considered for the MVP award again.

He simply does not stop producing, while on the mound or at the plate.

He’s obviously got some stiff competition if he’s going for his second straight MVP Award, given that Aaron Judge has been tearing it up at the plate all season.

But at the very least, Ohtani should be in the conversation.

His odds are looking pretty good right now as he attempts to repeat as the AL MVP.

If you can hit for power and pitch like an ace, you’re definitely going to garner some consideration for the MVP award.

The two-way superstar has been one of the few saving graces for the Halos amidst this disaster of a season.

The excitement he brings to a ballclub is second to none.

He has the potential to be one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.

He’s already doing something that hasn’t been done since the days of Babe Ruth.

He certainly deserves to be considered for another MVP.
