The Arizona Cardinals are coming off a disappointing 4-13 season, and they could look significantly different once next season starts.

They already brought in a new head coach by hiring Jonathan Gannon, who had spent the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition, many feel they will end up trading wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and there is plenty of speculation about where he may be headed.

Could he become a member of the Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, or New England Patriots, or will another team end up snagging him?

Or will he end up staying put in Arizona?

Hopkins has been one of the NFL’s more productive wide receivers during his 10-year career, and he has five Pro Bowl selections and three All-Pro first-team nods to his name.

In 2020, his first season with the Cardinals, he had 1,407 receiving yards, yet the following year, a torn MCL limited him to 10 games.

This past season, he missed the first six games after being suspended for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy, but afterward, he regained some of his previous productivity.

Hopkins’ 79.7 receiving yards per game in 2022 stacks up pretty well with his prior career averages, but he has a huge cap hit over the next two seasons that Arizona may want to get out of.

Although he will be 31 years of age next season, he should have something significant left in the tank for whichever team he ends up suiting up for.

The Packers, Ravens, and Patriots all badly need a threat such as Hopkins at wideout, but it remains to be seen if they will be willing to take on his big contract.
