The New York Knicks won their first game on the road in Canada since 2015 on Friday night.

It was a close game, but the Knicks did just enough to pull away 112-108 over the Toronto Raptors.

The team had a number of standout performances that led the team.

Here are the two best performances that contributed to the win.

2. Mitchell Robinson

Mitchell Robinson plays an important role for the Knicks.

Serving as the anchor of the defense in the paint, Robinson is called upon to change shots and rebound the ball.

He did exactly that against the Raptors.

Defensively, Robinson had two blocks and helped to limit the Raptors forwards to under 20 points each.

Meanwhile, he also hauled in 18 rebounds and added 10 points of his own.

This allowed the Knicks to win the battle underneath the basket, as they also were able to outshoot the Raptors.

Robinson, though he didn’t have a flashy stat line, was a big reason for that.

1. Julius Randle

Julius Randle wasted no time in setting a tone for this game.

He exploded for 20 points in the first quarter, giving the Knicks an early lead.

This included five threes, as it looked like he couldn’t be stopped.

While his scoring slowed for the rest of the game, he still finished as the team’s leading scorer with 32.

He also helped Robinson on the boards, hauling in 11 rebounds of his own.

Randle again lived up to his role at the core of this team, helping elevate them to the win over the Raptors.
