What Is One Piece About?

The series follows the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates as they quest for the “One Piece,” a fabled prestige treasure that might elevate their captain, Monkey D. Luffy, to be “The King of the Pirates.”

Developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda (Salvation), Season 1 of the series focused on the first one hundred chapters of the popular manga.

The following fifty to one hundred chapters may be adapted if the show follows suit.

That would include storylines and arcs such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, and Little Garden.
