When Is the Next Sephora Sale?
Sephora is set to kick off its always highly anticipated Spring Savings Event on Friday, Apr. 10, 2026. Sometimes also called the VIB Sale, it’s Sephora’s biggest sale of the year, rewarding members of the Sephora Beauty Insiders loyalty program with a multi-use sitewide discount based on their member tier.
- Rouge loyalty members get first dibs on the deals with four days of exclusive access and 20% off most items sitewide, starting Apr. 10. Rouge members can also share their 20% discount with a friend — one time only — from Apr. 10–13, so go ahead and share the wealth!
- If you don’t have a big-spending beauty buddy, VIB and Insider rewards members will have to wait until Tuesday, Apr. 14 to join in on the fun. VIBs get 15% off and Insiders get 10% off sitewide.
- Can’t wait that long? Regardless of member tier, all Sephora Beauty Insider members can score 30% off the entire Sephora Collection from Apr. 10–20.
As a Beauty Insider of any level, you can shop in-store or online and enjoy your discount as many times as you like before the Spring 2026 Sephora Savings Event ends on Monday, Apr. 20. Sephora has confirmed that we won’t see a seasonal sitewide sale like this again until the fall, so stock up on your favorite beauty, skincare, hair care and fragrances now!

Now, we’re bravely foraging into new, exciting savings territory: The elusive but magical Sephora sale calendar. We’ve been keeping notes and digging in deep to determine when exactly Sephora hosts its biggest sales and what perks each sale offers.
Here’s everything you need to know about scoring Sephora on sale and feeding your beauty addiction for less.

How Do Sephora Beauty Insider Sales Work?
First, let’s start with an overview of how Sephora sales work. With the notable exception of a few national holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Sephora restricts most of its sales to members of its Beauty Insider rewards program.
OK, so that’s the bad news. The good news is that the Sephora Beauty Insider program is free to join, and there’s no minimum spend to qualify. Joining Beauty Insider takes about 10 seconds, or less than the time to pop on a fresh layer of Birthday Confetti-flavored Lancome lip gloss (just saying).
As a Sephora Beauty Insider member, you earn points on all your purchases, which you can exchange for samples, freebies and other rewards. The number of points you earn on different purchases depends on your level of membership.
Sephora Beauty Insider Membership Tiers
The Sephora Beauty Insider program is divided into three membership tiers:
Sephora Insider
Sephora automatically awards Insider status when you join Sephora Beauty Insider. The free, entry-level membership Insider status earns you 1 point per dollar spent on all Sephora purchases, and 2X during point multiplier events throughout the year. But perhaps best of all, Insider-level membership lets you access many (though not all) of the exclusive Sephora Beauty Insider sale events, including the Sephora Spring Sale and VIB Holiday Bonus Sale.
Sephora VIB
Sephora automatically awards you VIB status (Very Important Beauty Insider) when you spend $350 or more at Sephora within a calendar year. VIB status earns you at least 1 point per dollar spent on all Sephora purchases, and 3X during point multiplier events throughout the year. VIB-level membership also gets you access to all the Sephora Beauty Insider sale events, including the Sephora Spring Sale, Summer Bonus Sale and VIB Holiday Bonus Sale.
Sephora Rouge
You’re automatically awarded VIB Rouge status when you spend $1,000 or more at Sephora within a calendar year. Rouge membership status earns you at least 1 point per dollar spent on all Sephora purchases, and 4X during point multiplier events throughout the year. The Rouge level also gives you early access to all the Sephora Beauty Insider sale events, including the Sephora Spring Sale and VIB Holiday Bonus Sale.
Annual Sephora Sale Dates in 2026
Like many major retailers, Sephora throws sales on national holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But Sephora also celebrates a few of its own annual sales holidays — many of which are only available to Beauty Insiders. To make sure you never miss even a single opportunity to score Sephora on sale, mark these annual Sephora sale events on your calendar:
January
Sephora Skincare Sale
The Sephora Skincare Sale directly competes with Ulta’s Love Your Skin Event in January. Sephora offers shoppers a 50% off discount on a different skincare brand every day during the event. You need to be quick because each deal only lasts for 24 hours. In 2026, this event kicked off on Jan. 2 and lasted through Jan. 17. Brands in the mix included Kiehl’s, Clinique, Paula’s Choice and First Aid Beauty.
Sephora End-of-Year Sale
The End-of-Year Sale expands on Sephora’s After-Christmas Sale, offering up to 50% off oodles of holiday products and more. It runs alongside Sephora’s first big sales event of the year, the Skincare Sale.
Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday Gifts
At the beginning of January, Sephora reveals what you will receive as a free birthday gift for the calendar year! When your birthday month comes around, as a Beauty Insider member, you can choose a free gift from among the list of gift options for that year. This year’s freebies include products from Tower 28 Beauty, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, dae, Glossier and Jo Malone London. If you are a VIB or Rouge member you can choose an exclusive Jo Malone London gift set while supplies last.
February
Sephora Valentine’s Day/Presidents’ Day promos
As winter continues to drag on and beauty mavens twiddle our thumbs waiting for spring, up pops Sephora’s Valentine’s Day/Presidents’ Day promos help us over the hump. While we haven’t seen sitewide sales, they are known to offer promos on Valentine’s Day gifts (like 4x Beauty Insider points on fragrance gifts) as well as Beauty Insider events like the Passport to Beauty Challenge offered in February 2025.
March
Sephora 50% Off One-Day Deals Spring Sale
Sephora first launched its Oh Snap! Sale in 2020 – likely as a way to compete with Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty biannual savings event. Although the name has changed, this 50% off One Day Deals sale is still on. For 2026, it started on Mar. 6 and ran through Mar. 26.
During this sale, Sephora offers a small selection (approximately 10 items) of top-selling beauty products for 50% off each day, alongside deals on Sephora Collection products. Sephora usually limits shoppers to two purchases of the same product. During past sales, featured brands have included MAC, Urban Decay, Clinique, Too Faced and Smashbox. This sale mirrors Ulta’s sale directly in terms of dates and products!
April
Sephora VIB Sale
April is not a major shopping month in the year, but it’s actually one of the best times to scoop up savings on beauty products! One of Sephora’s most highly anticipated events, the Sephora Spring Event, kicks off in April with big savings on almost everything online and in stores — including Sephora at Kohl’s.
In 2026, the Sephora Spring Savings Event begins on Friday, Apr. 10 and will run through Monday, Apr. 20, with different member tiers gaining sale access on different dates:
- Rouge: 20% off your entire purchase, from Apr. 10–20
- VIB: 15% off your entire purchase, from Apr. 14–20
- Insider: 10% off your entire purchase, from Apr. 14–20
Plus, all Beauty Insiders gets 30% off the Sephora Collection from Apr. 10–20!
Aside from the Sephora Collection, Beauty Insiders can save big on top brands like Fenty Beauty, Rhode, Summer Fridays, Rare Beauty, Tatcha, Paula’s Choice, Glow Recipe, Farmacy, Dyson and The Ordinary. In fact, nearly all of the 300+ brands that Sephora sells are fair game for the discount, with just a few restrictions — like a limit of two Dyson items, three Shark Beauty items and three The Ordinary items per transaction.

Sephora Oh Hair Yeah! Spring Sale
Last year in 2025, the Oh Hair Yeah! sale started on Apr. 29 and ran through to May 10. We predict a similar schedule for 2026. This sale presents shoppers with the chance to stock up on their favorite hair care products and save up to 50% on hair products from different brands every single day.
Sephora Memorial Day Sale
The long holiday weekend sale kicks off at the start of summer. And so does Sephora’s Memorial Day Sale. Last year’s promotion was called It’s Time To Save and ran from May 22 to May 26 (Memorial Day). This year we predict the sale will run May 21 to May 25, 2026. You can score beauty must-haves for up to 50% off, plus when you spend $75, you earn 500 points. The sale includes brands like Dyson, Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty Beauty, Tom Ford and more.
June
June tends to be a quiet month for savings at Sephora. You will see plenty of promotions on individual products in the Sale section as well as promos specific to BeautyInsider members.
Point Multiplier Event
Last year in 2025, (early June) you could get extra rewards for shopping as a Beauty Insider member. The higher your membership tier the bigger your rewards. Plus, you can 5x your points when you buy Sephora Collection items.
July
Sephora Summer Deal Week
Last July, Sephora changed things up a bit and hosted its first-ever Summer Deal Week – which overlapped with the Fourth of July holiday. This sale kicked off on July 4 and ran through to July 10 – expect a similar schedule for 2026. During this time, you could save 25% on hair products from beloved brands like Ouai and Olaplex and up to 25% on skincare and beauty products from Necessaire, Grande Cosmetics and more.
Sephora National Lipstick Day Deals
For one day only on July 29, Sephora has exclusive savings available to those who wish to perfect their pout. To celebrate National Lipstick Day, the retailer offers savings of up to 50% on everything from Fenty Beauty lip gloss and Yves Saint Laurent lip stain to Mara lip balm.
August
Sephora 8 Days of App-Only Offers
Shop one-day-only beauty deals that last for eight days on Sephora’s app. Typically the sale runs from about Aug. 20 to Aug. 27. Promotions included getting 25% off select hair products and earning 100 Beauty Insider points with a $25 purchase.
September
One-Day Deals, 50% Off Sale
Last year from Aug. 30 to Sept. 19, Sephora hosted a 50% Off One-Day Deals Saving Event, and we expect similar timing for 2026. Each day, a new selection of products was available for 50% off so you’ll want to keep checking back. Sephora used to call this its Oh, Snap! Sale, but the retailer didn’t use that name for the savings event last year.
Sephora Friends and Family Sale
Sephora’s Friends and Family Sale provides a select group of people (i.e., Sephora employees and their friends and family) with a one-time 20% off discount code. In 2025, this event took place from Sept. 5–14, but it has also occurred in August in the past. But, unfortunately, if you aren’t connected to someone with a code who can also provide you the required referral link, you won’t have a chance to save.
October
Sephora Oh Hair Yeah! Fall Sale
Running opposite Ulta’s Gorgeous Hair event, the Oh Hair Yeah! sale at Sephora offers up to 50% off everything you’d ever need for your hair. This sale typically starts on Sept. 29 and runs through to Oct. 10.
Sephora National Brow Day Sale
National Brow Day deals last for one day only. National Brow Day is on Oct. 2 every year. Check back for this year’s eyebrow-enhancing product deals in October.
November
Sephora Beauty Insider Sale (Holiday Savings Event)
This Sephora Holiday Savings Event was open to all membership tiers and discounts could be applied to virtually everything online and in stores. The Sephora Insider Sale runs from Nov. 1 to Nov. 11, typically. Expect similar dates for 2026.
As with other Beauty Insider sales, the Sephora Beauty Insider Holiday Sale rewarded higher membership tiers with greater savings – and earlier access to deals Here is a typical breakdown of the schedule:
- Rouge: 20% off your entire purchase, from Nov. 1 – Nov. 11
- VIB: 15% off your entire purchase, from Nov. 5 – Nov. 11
- Insider: 10% off your entire purchase, from Nov. 5 – Nov. 11
- Sephora Collection: 30% off, from Nov. 1 – Nov. 11
P.S. If you are a Rouge member, or you have a friend who is, they can share the savings! Rouge members can usually give a friend a one-time 20% off discount code to use during the first few days of the sale.
Sephora Cyber Week Sale
In recent years, Sephora has hosted a Cyber Week sale that kicks off before the Black Friday sale begins and wraps up after. During this time, Sephora tends to have special promotions available for specific brands and products, like Fenty Beauty, Tarte and Kiehls. We expect this sale to follow a similar schedule for 2026.
Sephora Black Friday Sale
In addition to Cyber Week savings, Sephora always holds a Black Friday sale — with savings for everyone, not just Beauty Insider members. Sephora’s Black Friday sale usually takes place on Thanksgiving and Black Friday specifically. During Sephora’s Black Friday 2026 sale, we expect to see a sitewide discount available to Beauty Insiders and impressive product deals available to all shoppers.
December
Sephora Cyber Monday Sale
Falling on the Monday after Thanksgiving, Cyber Monday is the retail world’s online-centric version of Black Friday. In the tradition of Cyber Monday sales, this Sephora holiday sale comprises a series of online-exclusive deals to tempt the savvy holiday shopper. This one, too, is open to all holiday shoppers hoping to score Sephora on sale – and sometimes you’ll find extra savings in the app.
Sephora Gifts for All Events
Sephora’s “For All Event” is exactly what it says — all Sephora Beauty Insiders tiers have the opportunity to save during the event. The “Beauty for All Event” made its debut in 2021 shortly after Cyber Monday. In past years the “Gifts for All Event” popped up on Dec. 1 and lasted through Dec. 10. Meanwhile, the Fragrance for All Event started on Dec. 13 and lasted through Dec. 24. The gifts event gave all Beauty Insiders 20% off their entire purchase and 30% off the Sephora Collection; the fragrance event gave them 20% off full-sized scents.
Sephora After-Christmas Sale
Starting the day after the gift wrap has been ripped off the packages, Sephora starts its after-Christmas sale with an extra 20% off sale beauty products. Stock up on beauty essentials or those gifts Santa forgot to bring you. We predict for 2026, this sale will start around Dec. 26 and wrap up on Jan. 1, like it has in previous years.
Other Ways To Save at Sephora Between Events
You can score products at Sephora for significantly less if you shop at the right time with the right membership tier. But the aforementioned sales are only a glimpse of the many promotions, freebies and special offers Sephora entices shoppers with throughout the year. These are a few ways you can save at Sephora every time you shop:
1. Look at Sephora Sales and Offers
If you’re trying to shop at Sephora outside of its annual sales events, you can find deals in the Sephora sale section of the store website, which features deals on beauty products, hair and skin care and more. The Sephora sale page is easy to navigate and can be organized by filters like a product category, rating and price.
The Beauty Offers page of Sephora.com is hands-down our favorite spot on the site (if not the entire internet). That’s where you’ll find a constantly updated stream of free goodies, plus other perks like free shipping and point multiplier codes.
Also, be sure to check the Sephora app, as some promotions are specifically available there.
2. Shop the Sephora Collection
If you think about it, the Sephora Collection functions like a never-ending Sephora sale since it features high-quality proprietary Sephora-brand beauty products at ultralow prices. Everything from retractable waterproof eyeliner to vegan eyelashes to coconut foot masks: Whatever your beauty-loving heart desires, you’ll find it in the Sephora Collection – for less.
3. Sign Up for a Sephora Credit Card
If you want to save a whopping 25% on your first purchase, then sign up for a Sephora Credit Card. You’ll earn 4% back in rewards when you shop at Sephora both in-store and online and earn two times Beauty Insider Points per $1 you spend at Sephora and other perks. The key, however, is to pay it off every month so you don’t incur interest charges that eat into your initial discount.

How many times does Sephora have VIB sales?
While we have seen Sephora host as many as three VIB sales per year in the past, there are usually only two: one in the spring (April) and another around the holidays (November). For 2026, Sephora has officially confirmed that there will only be two of these seasonal savings events this year.
What time of year does Sephora have sales?
