Because TV Fanatic got the inside scoop from executive producer Andrew Fleming!
The industry vet sat with me to discuss Season 4 of Emily in Paris.
It was an incredible experience to speak with someone who has been a part of so many classic TV shows and films.
Andrew Fleming was dishing all the details of the locations, fashions, and rich culture of Paris.
Even more so, it was fun to gab with someone as passionate about the series as I am.
You can tell that Andrew Fleming truly loves working on this show.
The producer has worked on such prolific projects as Younger, Bad Judge, and everyone’s favorite witchy teen film, The Craft.
Over the years, he has worked as a producer, director, and writer.
He even has a few acting credits in films such as Easy A and Friends with Benefits.
In 2018, he wrote and directed the comedy-drama Ideal Home starring Paul Rudd.
The movie itself is based on his own experiences as a gay parent, helping to raise the son of his partner of 23 years.
Now, with a hit Netflix show on his hands, check out what executive producer Andrew Fleming had to say about Emily in Paris below!
As you can see, Andrew is practically in love with this show, and I don’t blame him.
Season 4 of Emily in Paris shows how the series is growing up.
Having previously worked on the Netflix show Insatiable, Andrew knows the tips and tricks for expertly navigating camp and high-visual stories.
Though Insatiable only lasted a few seasons, Emily in Paris is another experience for Andrew Fleming.
As he said, he has a hit on his hands and couldn’t be happier with the show.
The style, story, and sexiness of Emily in Paris get supercharged in the fourth season.
Fans will see a compelling new arc for Sylvie as she deals with trauma from her past.
Gabriel is working out the aftermath of Camille’s announcement at the end of Season 3.
Mindy is slowly finding out that love is not as simple as it seems when it comes to your partner’s family.
Don’t even get me started on Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount of Scream Queens.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Emily in Paris Season 4 is taking things up a few hundred notches.
It’s no longer the little baby series that it was in the beginning.
Like Emily, the show has changed and evolved while maintaining its beautiful story and breathtaking visuals.
