Amanda Seyfried misunderstood the testament of Timothée Chalamet.
The Housemaid actress wasn’t quite sure what the Marty Supreme actor was referencing when he thanked his “partner of three years” during his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards—but now she does.
After Timothée ended his speech by looking at his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and saying, “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Amanda admitted she thought the Oscar nominee had been referencing a charity that he had been partnering with.
“OH not like a foundation/charity,” the 40-year-old—who was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in The Testament of Ann Lee—wrote in the comment section of Evan Ross Katz‘s Jan. 4 Instagram post about the moment. “I was curious about that.”
