Is this the TRASHIEST community in the state of Florida??

There are no words to describe what I saw in Pasco County, Florida.

If you’ve never heard of Pasco County, then you probably don’t live in Florida. It’s an average-sized county with a medium population that’s just north of Tampa. There’s not much up here – it’s mostly rural where there’s blueberry farms and olive groves. Small towns and good people. The most well known city here is probably New Port Richey.

But soon, like the rest of Florida, much of this county will be under development. Housing communities are pushing in here big time. All over east Pasco, there’s land ripped up and lots and lots of construction.

The day before I came to Pasco, I had seen LOTS of growth over in Polk County, right next door. Over there is the fastest growing county in the state. Major growth is happening all over central Florida, and a lot of it is spilling over here into Pasco County, too.

This county has been VERY rural for a long time, and is known for being trashy. Actually, Floridians call this the most trashy place in the state. It’s said the east side of Pasco County is where they make the drugs for the people in west Pasco.

One part of the county, though, has the biggest negative reputation of all. It’s called Moon Lake Acres. So I went there to see what it looked like. And WTF people.
