A film about the life of Carlo Acutis, entitled “Heaven Can’t Wait” and directed by José María Zavala, is set to be released. The film’s goal is to showcase the life of a normal young man, who used the internet to share the Gospel before his death from leukemia in 2006. The film includes real images and testimonies of Carlo’s life, as well as historical fiction, and is intended for the whole family. Director Zavala hopes that Carlo’s example will inspire young people to use social media for good, and to focus on making others happy. The film was shot in Madrid and Assisi, where the body of Blessed Carlo Acutis is on permanent display.
