Wilco Perform, Jeff Tweedy Playfully Feuds With Fred Armisen on Seth Meyers: Watch

Wilco were the musical guests on last night’s episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers. As well as performing “Tired of Taking It Out on You” with the band, a reliably deadpan Jeff Tweedy sat down with Seth Meyers for a conversation that ranged from his exploits in Chipotle after receiving a lifetime free burrito card in the mail, to a fierce and definitely real dispute with fellow guest Fred Armisen, whom Tweedy claims owes his wife lots of money. (Armisen, chastened, made an extremely legally binding video pledging 75 percent of his future earnings.) Watch it all happen below.

Tweedy is releasing a new book in November called World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music. Last year, Wilco released the “Tired of Taking It Out on You” parent album Cruel Country, along with a huge reissue of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
