The housing affordability crisis is the result of deliberate policy choices and chronic underfunding that has persisted for decades but have worsened since the Great Recession. Often, Buying a home is the preferred housing choice for American families because it builds generational wealth. Today, home prices are out of control for first-time home buyers and first-time home renters. Back in May, the Biden administration address the problem with a plan to help future homeowners find more affordable homes. In this video, we get an update on the government’s plan to see if this is a proactive solution or just a bandaid on a heart attack.
