We’re under two months away from the Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2’s epic return.

So far, we’ve been tortured and teased with mere snippets of the action to come, but the recently released behind-the-scenes featurette offers insight into why that may be.

This story has been under lock and key for two years as drama surrounding the cast and the production unfolds as a story unto itself.

We will no doubt someday see a fictional take on what’s occurred or even a major motion picture.

That’s how high the drama was between the two halves of Yellowstone Season 5.

This new Yellowstone featurette exemplifies the cast’s closeness.

It also shares their love for their characters and those they have worked with closely for seven years.

One of the most significant takeaways of the featurette is the secrecy on set.

If we’ve been begging for sneak peeks, we are not alone!

Each actor had a script featuring only their own words, with other parts redacted.

Can you imagine?

I can’t wrap my head around learning lines period, let alone without the verbal cues you normally use to begin.

However, this top-secret production method will allow the actors to react in real-time to their scene partners, lending an air of authenticity to the drama.

The Yellowstone Season 5 featurette doesn’t offer anything overt.

But it does show us the emotional toll the story takes on the characters we’ve come to love.

If anything, watching this featurette makes it more torturous waiting for what’s to come.

But it also lights a fire under us that will reach a boiling point on November 10.

With so many tears on display, John Dutton may have died. Beth, Kayce, and Jaime are all in tears at some point in the trailer, and Rip is right beside them.

The gang is all here, and we are eating up every word as we await the explosive Yellowstone Season 5 conclusion (and word on a surprising renewal!).

I’m so excited to take the rest of this journey with you, so I hope you’ll keep TV Fanatic bookmarked so we can share the excitement together!
