The Chicago Bears have made it clear they want to be aggressive this offseason.

After trading the first overall pick, the Bears committed to Justin Fields being the future of their franchise.

He showed signs of elite play last season, yet most of his good games did not equate to wins.

Where Fields excelled was with his legs, as he is an elite dual-threat quarterback.

But, he needs to take strides as a passer in 2023.

The Bears are trying to give him as much help as possible.

That is why they acquired wide receiver D.J. Moore in that trade with the Carolina Panthers.

Fields spent quality time with three of his Bears teammates on Wednesday night.

According to Dov Kleiman, Fields was at the Bulls game with Moore, Darnell Mooney, and Chase Claypool.

Those are going to be Fields’ three top targets this upcoming season.

All three give the Bears a formidable receiver corps, which is something they have not had in years.

Outside of the trade with the Panthers, the Bears have improved their team in many more ways.

On the defensive side, they added two impact linebackers, T.J. Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds.

They also added an offensive lineman, Nate Davis.

Chicago needs to invest more in their offensive line to keep Fields off the ground.

Now that they are picking ninth overall, that seems like a good place for them to take one of the top offensive linemen in the class.

General Manager Ryan Poles has not been afraid to make moves this offseason.

His aggressiveness might just result in a surprisingly good year for the Bears in 2023.
