The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles seem to be the perfect match for their year’s Super Bowl.

Not only were they both the number one seeds in their respective conferences, but they both boast elite offenses.

For the season the Chiefs averaged 29.2 points per game, which led the NFL.

Philadelphia averaged 28.1 points per game, which was third in the league.

There should be no shortage of points scored in the Super Bowl.

But, the craziest stat of them all is that both of these teams have scored the same amount of points this season.

For both teams to be tied at 546 points is quite amazing.

Both teams have played 19 games this season, and that averages out to 28.7 points per game.

Despite having the same number of points scored, both teams run drastically different offenses.

Kansas City is a pass-first team led by the best quarterback in the league, Patrick Mahomes.

While the Eagles are a ground-and-pound team that led the NFL in rushing touchdowns this season.

Both teams have a unique style that makes it difficult for opposing defenses to stop.

It appears that both quarterbacks will be entering this game at less than 100%.

Mahomes is still battling the ankle injury he suffered in the AFC Divisional round.

While Jalen Hurts has a shoulder injury that forced him to miss Weeks 16 and 17 of the regular season.

It will be a chess match between the defensive coordinators to see who can slow down the other offense.

The Chiefs will look to get Hurts to throw as much as possible, while the Eagles will look to pressure Mahomes and force him to run.

Ultimately, this should be a great matchup between two teams with contrasting styles of play.
