Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G download speeds
The Galaxy S23 Ultra, for one, clocked 189 Mbps download speeds, against the 177 Mbps result from its predecessor the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The middle child in the family – Galaxy S22+ – managed to score 166 Mbps, while the Galaxy S22+ mustered 167 Mbps median download speeds, so both were nearly equal.
The difference between the Galaxy S23 and S22 munchkins was the starkest, though. The newest 2023 model got 177 Mbps median download speeds, while the Galaxy S22 was able to deliver 145 Mbps only.

Instead of upping the Gigabit download speeds as it did with the previous Snapdragon X65, X60, X55 and X50 generation, Qualcomm decided to stick with the 10 Gigabit rating of the modem that is currently in phones like the Galaxy S22 series, and instead focus on decking the new modem out with extra features and AI capabilities.
