Russell Westbrook Has The Fans Cheering Again
The Los Angeles Lakers easily took down the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, beating that surprisingly strong team with a solid 128-109 victory at home.
LA found success because of multiple players.
Five guys on the roster scored in double-digits during their victory over Portland.
Russell Westbrook was one of them, with his 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench.

Three of those points came at the very end of the third quarter, as Westbrook launched a deep three-pointer from halfcourt.
It was a miracle shot that somehow made it straight into the basket, causing Westbrook to bust out a little dance and leaving the fans cheering with joy in the stands.
Seeing Westbrook feeling himself and the fans celebrating him is a welcome sight, especially after the many rough months the former All-Star had.
Westbrook’s Comeback Season
Things are going much, much better for Westbrook right now.
When you look at his numbers, they are similar to last season but it is undeniable that he just fits so much better with the team this year.
You have to give credit to head coach Darvin Ham for taking the huge step of having Westbrook come off the bench.
Of course, you also have to commend Westbrook for agreeing to that change and embracing his new role with the team.
He is playing with a newfound sense of drive, enthusiasm, and purpose.
Westbrook has become much more reliable and selfless in recent weeks and it’s not surprising to see the Lakers perform better as Westbrook does too.
It was great to see Westbrook sink that wild three-pointer on Wednesday but it was actually a bit surprising to see him attempt it because he has improved his shot selection and the choices he makes on the court.
