Pro Football Focus is taking time to make their pick for best run blocker in 2022.

While the NFL is only in week 11, it’s not stopping them from telling fans which offensive lineman is taking an early lead as best run blocker.

With so many good running backs in the NFL, which one is benefiting from having the league’s best blocker?

The Minnesota Vikings And Dalvin Cook Have The Best Run Blocker In The NFL

Dalvin Cook is a known premier running back for the Minnesota Vikings.

However, this season, he’s benefiting from having the best run blocker in the NFL.

With PFF naming Christian Darrisaw as their highest-graded run blocker, it’s easy to see how Cook is dominating in 2022.

He comes into week 11 ranking in the top 10 in rushing yards, with 727 rushing yards this season.

With Darrisaw clearing lanes for him, he’s plowing through for plenty of yards.

He holds the longest rush this season, gaining 81 yards on a single play.

However, Darrisaw is doing more than just clearing running lanes for Cook this season.

He’s also a top 10 pass-protecting tackle for his quarterback.

With the Vikings at 8-1 this season, some of the help on offense is thanks to Darrisaw.

While he’s still young, he’s showing he’s learning fast in the NFL.

Some first-round offensive linemen turn into busts shortly after getting drafted.

However, Darrisaw is proving to be a success story for the Vikings.

With the success Cook is having this season, he can thank his young tackle for having a good year.
