Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks had a lot of problems on Sunday.

His team lost its second-straight game against the Charlotte Hornets, falling further away from the play-in tournament.

But Irving was also dealing with some unruly fans who got under his skin.

These fans were eventually ejected from the game after Irving’s urging.

After the loss, he talked about why he had the people kicked out.

It’s not exactly clear what the fan said to Irving but it was obviously enough to get him fired up and have him call for a drastic response.

This isn’t the first time that Irving has had a combative relationship with fans.

In fact, he has bickered with those in the stands multiple times this season.

Irving never holds back his feelings, for better or for worse.

Recently, it was fans of the Mavericks who were most upset with the team.

At their last home game, the team was booed by the Dallas crowd, who are very frustrated with the direction the team is headed in.

Since acquiring Irving in February, the Mavericks have gone 7-13, which is not the record the fanbase wanted.

Those boos didn’t seem to ruffle Irving’s feathers, as he told ESPN that “our focus isn’t necessarily on the boos, it should be on our performance and just being there for each other.”

Irving should expect a lot more pushback from fans for the rest of the season.

But if his team keeps floundering, the season may not be much longer.
