For all of 2022, Tyreek Hill has been the hype man for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is all-in on his quarterback, and everyone knows this from his interviews.

However, is Hill and his hype responsible for the leap Tagovailoa is experiencing this season?

Hill Deserves Some Credit For The Success Of His Quarterback

Hill has been a receiving machine for the Dolphins this season, as he’s been on pace to crack 2,000 yards.

Having a receiver of this caliber is making things easier for the young quarterback out in Miami.

No receiver in NFL history has ever hit 2,000 receiving yards in a single season.

However, Hill is doing this with a quarterback many pundits had doubts about.

While he’s not getting many touchdowns, he’s racking up yardage to help his quarterback make touchdowns with other players.

These things are part of the reason that Hill is behind the newfound success of Tagovailoa in 2022.

However, the Dolphins quarterback was already good without Hill.

All he needed was someone to help boost his already solid numbers from 2021.

Tagovailoa Was Already Finding Success Without Hill

Even before Hill made a splash in Miami, Tagovailoa was breaking records with the Dolphins.

While Hill was shooting him to the moon, he already had it in him to be a successful quarterback.

However, having Hill gives his other targets time to get open for touchdowns.

So the Dolphins quarterback is benefiting from having Hill around him.

But he already had the tools himself to be a successful quarterback.

Hill only amplifies the greatness already inside of Tagovailoa.
