Veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will reportedly hold a workout on Friday for NFL teams after sitting out all of the 2022 season following a torn ACL he sustained in Super Bowl LVI.

There were many rumors that he was looking to join any one of several contenders late last season, but nothing of the sort happened.

According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the New York Giants are one of the teams that will attend Beckham’s workout in Arizona.

Beckham was the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and he spent his first five seasons with the Giants where he made his name.

He was the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014, and he made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons while putting up over 1,300 receiving yards in each of those campaigns.

He was traded to the Cleveland Browns prior to the 2019 season, but dealt with injuries and drama during his time in Northeast Ohio.

After two ACL injuries in less than a year-and-a-half, some are probably wondering how much of his former speed, which was his superpower, he still has at this point.

If he has enough left, he could represent the final piece to the puzzle for a number of squads.

The Giants badly need a bona fide threat at wideout, as Darius Slayton, who had 724 yards in 2022, was their most productive player at that position this past season.
