Five people shot, one fatally at New Orleans Mardi Gras parade

One person was killed and four were injured after a shooting unfolded at a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans. Interim Superintendent Michelle Woodfork says there were “no issues until this incident” and does not want “another incident to spoil the rest of the Mardi Gras season.”
