Exploring ABANDONED Power Plant – Market street New Orleans, Louisiana

The Market Street Power Plant is a defunct early 20th Century power plant in New Orleans, Louisiana. Built in 1905 supplying power for the city, last produced power in 1973 then finally shutting its doors in 1984. Later bought by a private investor to redeveloped into a residential, retail, and entertainment center never moved forward. A few movies/ Tv shows were filmed here: Terminator Genisys, Oblivion and NCIS (Season 7 or 8?) Market street power plant was put back on the market in 2020.

Please do not take anything serious, I’m just here documenting what’s left behind before it’s gone.
