Having stumbled into teaching by way of the Teach For America program, Kiliona shares his journey as an Educator, as well as the fulfillment he gets from working at what he calls ‘ᴛʜᴇ ʜᴀᴡᴀɪɪᴀɴ ʜᴏɢᴡᴀʀᴛꜱ’. He describes his school as a magical place where students are learning from the land and the natural environment around them every day, as well as seeing teachers that look like them. It’s a school that actively strives to be an example of true Hawaiian cultural education.
