The Dallas Cowboys had 41 quarterback sacks in the 2021 NFL regular season.

While it isn’t the worst mark in the league, it is a far cry from the league-leading 55 sacks by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Defensive Rookie of the Year Micah Parsons can be credited for a lot of those after filling in for DeMarcus Lawrence at defensive end.

The First-Team All-Pro member had 13 sacks for the Cowboys while Randy Gregory was second with six.

Unfortunately, Gregory has already joined the Denver Broncos after initially signifying that he would extend his stint in Dallas.

Therefore, they need another person to generate pressure on the quarterback because Parsons and Lawrence are not enough.

With this thought, Cowboys fans must be frustrated after hearing Von Miller‘s latest statement.

Miller said, “I would’ve taken less to go to Dallas.”

Sadly, the Cowboys won’t know what could have been.

Imagine Lawrence, Parsons, and Miller haunting the opposing quarterback.

The poor play-caller wouldn’t know what hit him because they would be coming from all directions.

Instead, Miller signed a six-year, $120 million deal with the Buffalo Bills.

His contract includes $51.4 million in guaranteed money and an $18.5 million signing bonus.

Miller Has The Midas Touch

Aside from his ability to rush the quarterback, Miller has had success with every team he’s suited up for.

He was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl 50 when the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers.

Then, he won another title with the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.

This time, he hopes to help the Bills get their first Super Bowl victory and possibly erase the bitter taste of losing four straight Super Bowls in the early 1990s.

If he signed with the Cowboys, he might have helped the squad hoist their first Vince Lombardi Trophy since the 1995 season.
