With the calendar now showing 2023, NFL fans know the countdown is on for the NFL Draft.

While this year’s draft is full of talented quarterbacks, only one quarterback is standing out after Saturday night’s NCAA bowl games.

The quarterback who stood out the most was CJ Stroud.

With several teams hungry for a franchise quarterback, Stroud was showing the world he can be the face of an NFL franchise.

While the Ohio State Buckeyes fell short of winning the Peach Bowl with the young quarterback, he played his heart out.

His performance during the game was amazing, as he passed for 348 yards and four touchdowns.

However, the most impressive thing about his performance was him throwing zero interceptions.

With the Georgia Bulldogs defense having 10 interceptions on the season, Stroud navigated their defense to perfection.

While he didn’t win, he was still proud of everyone and gave those who believe in him a reason to keep believing.

Now, all that awaits the young quarterback is which NFL team will draft him.

While the Houston Texans currently hold the first overall pick, they haven’t secured that selection.

With the Chicago Bears behind the Texans in the draft order, they can easily take over the first pick.

If this happens, it can send off a NFL Draft trade war for the first overall pick.

But until this happens, the Texans are in the driver’s seat to select Stroud with the first overall pick.

Passing on him after last night’s performance will be a costly mistake they will forever regret.
