You could score up to 25% off on most older iPhones last year, while the iPhone 12 series was up to 10% off. Those are great savings, no matter how you look at it, and we definitely expect those deals to apply to other iPhones, like the iPhone SE (2020) or the iPhone SE (2022). Even older iPhones, like the iPhone 8 or the XS-series could get discounted as part of Amazon Prime Day.

We suspect that the iPhone 11 series will also be massively discounted during Amazon Prime Day, not only on Amazon but across other retailers that still sell these massively popular iPhones from 2019. Despite that they are nearly two years and a half old, the iPhone-11 series devices are still mostly similar to their successors: save for the new design and faster chipsets, the overall experience is mostly similar, thus getting an iPhone 11 Pro or an iPhone 11 Pro Max might be excellent choices for those not lured in by the latest cutting edge tech.

If you’re on the hunt for a more “Pro” choice, then any deals including the iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max, or even the older iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max, should come off as quite interesting to you. Despite lacking the newer chipsets and lacking smooth displays with high refresh rates, the older Pro models are still capable and could potentially provide you with an excellent experience.

Overall, if you’re not one to hold their breath for the upcoming iPhone 14 series, there will hardly be a better time to get an existing iPhone model rather than the upcoming Amazon Prime Day.
