MLB teams have been teaming up to get some of their brightest stars into the All-Star Game, to be played on July 19 in Los Angeles.

We already saw the Cleveland Guardians and the Colorado Rockies teaming up to send C.J. Cron, Jose Iglesias, Jose Ramirez, and Andres Gimenez to the Midsummer Classic.

Now, the Los Angeles Angels and the Los Angeles Dodgers are joining forces to send their players to the game.

West Coast, Best Coast. Keep the stars local when you #VoteAngels and #VoteDodgers five times a day before 6/30!” the Angels tweeted, with a link to the voting page and a picture.

In the photo, we can see the four players that both teams are trying to raise votes for: Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Trea Turner.

All Four Players Should Be In The All-Star Game

It’s fair to say that the four players are among the best at their respective positions, and have a place in the hearts of thousands of fans.

But both organizations want them to go to the game via fan voting.

The clubs just want to make sure the foursome goes to the game, which will be played in their home city.

The four players have done enough to merit a spot on each league’s roster.

Trout has 22 home runs already, and 3.8 Wins Above Replacement (WAR), while Ohtani is hitting .260/.343/.487 with 16 long-balls and boasting an incredible 2.90 ERA on the mound.

Betts, currently sidelined with an injury, has 3.3 WAR and 17 homers, while Turner has hit 10 homers and stolen 25 bases while playing a really solid shortstop.

We will probably see all four stars in Los Angeles for the All-Star weekend, and fans will appreciate it.
