Alligator Swamp Tour in Louisiana (HD)

We went on a very cool swamp tour by Cajun Pride in LaPlace Louisiana in August of 2016, and saw a ton of alligators. The guide would throw marshmallows to get the alligators to come closer to eat them.

The tour guide contends that alligators are no where near the most dangerous thing in the Louisiana swamp. Instead he says a tall grass called cut-weed/cut-grass/saw-grass is the most dangerous thing in the area. He then goes on to say that the Disneyland Resort Alligator attack was not the Alligator’s fault but instead the fault of humans involved.

There were raccoons as well, who were skittish in getting too close to the water because of alligators.

Later we even passed a creepy graveyard that contained the victims from a hurricane that struck and wiped out an entire town in 1915.

Everyone even got to hold a baby alligator and take photos with it.

I highly recommend this tour- very educational as well for the kids!
