It has been a wild and surprising week for the NBA Eastern Conference.

On March 13, the Boston Celtics were surprisingly taken down by the Houston Rockets in one of the most shocking defeats of the season.

Remember, the Rockets have one of the worst records in the league and the Celtics have one of the best.

NBA writer Marc D’Amico noted that Boston’s loss to the Rockets was matched by the Milwaukee Bucks’ defeat to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday.

That means the Celtics are now two games behind the Bucks in the loss column, which means they are close to becoming the top team in the East again.

And these two powerful squads have one remaining game against each other.

That game will take place on March 30 in Milwaukee and you can bet that all NBA fans will be watching.

All season long, the Eastern Conference has been more competitive than ever.

But for much of the year, the Celtics have reigned supreme and sat ahead of everyone else.

That was until a couple of weeks ago when the power of Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks was just too much and they became the best in the East.

Obviously, claiming the number one spot is a big deal and would help tremendously when the playoffs begin.

Both of these squads will fight hard to claim it.

But they should keep an eye on the Philadelphia 76ers, who have won six games in a row and are just three wins behind the Bucks.

These next few weeks could be very crucial.
