7 Years of Motherhood Photos! — TahJah Harmony

Mother’s Day is this weekend! And I’m sharing 7 years worth of Motherhood photos I’ve taken on this post.

I’ve been a photographer for over 13 years (That’s so crazy!) – But I’ve been documenting motherhood for the past 7 years when I realized that the last time these ladies had professional images done was on their wedding day. I knew that photographing families would be important to me because I wanted to get the mom in front of the camera interacting with her kids.

7 Years ago, when I started this, moms had a hard time wanting to get in front of the camera, but as time went on, and the more I shared images, the more excited and willing these strong wonderful women got in front of my camera.

Together we’ve welcomed firstborns, their siblings, births, baptisms, birthdays, pregnancy announcements, pregnancy lost, infertility journeys, cancer wins, cancer losts, vacations, new homes, old homes, pets, large families, single-parents, adoptions….I mean the honor to photograph SO many family backgrounds and stories. Each image comes with at least one of those stories.
