Thursday Night Football was a pivotal night for the two teams fighting for their NFL playoff lives.

With them both needing a win, players were ready to shine during prime time.

However, two players stood out the most with their performance from Thursday night.

Evan Engram

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is no stranger to MetLife Stadium.

The former New York Giants star made a name for himself in this stadium.

However, on Thursday night, he was making a name for himself with his new team.

His seven receptions, 16.1 yards per reception, and 113 receiving yards, were solid for him.

It marked the second time this season he’s gone over 100 yards and the second time he’s averaged over 16 yards per reception.

While he had no touchdowns, his performance got the Jaguars into scoring position several times.

He’s becoming a tremendous weapon for his team, and Thursday night was his time to shine during prime time.

Trevor Lawrence

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence did everything he needed to during Thursday’s game against the New York Jets.

He was solid in the passing game, completing 20 of his 31 passes for 229 yards.

While the passing numbers aren’t mind-blowing, his running ability during this game was turning heads.

Lawrence isn’t a Lamar Jackson type rushing quarterback, but Thursday night saw him flashing his running ability.

His seven runs for 51 yards saw him having one go in for a touchdown.

With his touchdown being the only one during the game, it’s why he shined during the Jaguars win over the Jets.
